Hi, I’m Jo. I’m a former classroom teacher, homeschool mom of four, and the heart behind The Simplicity Corner.
What began as my own search for simpler, more meaningful ways to educate my children has grown into a place designed to help other parents feel equipped to do the same.
I believe parents know their children in a way no curriculum, app, or technology ever can. My goal is not to replace the parent as teacher. It is to give parents better tools, clearer guidance, meaningful resources, and a little less mental load so they can confidently teach the children God entrusted to them.
Faith, family, and education all belong together.
Our homeschool is not perfect, and neither is our life. There are babies, busy seasons, changed plans, hard days, chronic pain, plenty of coffee, and a whole lot of grace.
My faith shapes the way I see motherhood, education, and the work I am building here. I believe God equips us for the children He has given us, even when we do not feel completely equipped ourselves.
The Simplicity Corner exists to help make the practical parts simpler so families can focus more fully on what matters most.
